Welcome to Clarivo.Cloud ("Clarivo", "we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers ("Tenant", "you", "your"). This Privacy Policy describes how [Your Company Name Here], the provider of Clarivo, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, including our Point of Sale (POS), inventory, manufacturing, and HRM tools (collectively, the "Service").

We collect two types of information:
A. Service Data (Information about You, the Tenant)
This is the information we collect directly from you to provide and manage your Clarivo account.
Account Information: Your name, company name, email address, phone number, and physical address.
Payment Information: Billing details, payment method (e.g., bKash, card info), and transaction history. (Note: Sensitive payment details are handled directly by our secure third-party payment processors and are not stored on our servers).
Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, login times, and pages visited within the Service. We collect this automatically through logs and cookies to maintain security and improve our Service.
Communications: Any information you provide when you contact us for support or send us inquiries.
B. Tenant Data (Information You Control)
This is the data you and your users upload or create within the Service.
Your product lists and inventory data.
Your sales and purchase records.
Your customer information (e.g., names, phone numbers).
Your employee data (e.g., names, attendance records, payroll information).
Our Role: You are the "Data Controller" for your Tenant Data. This means you own it and are responsible for its legality and accuracy. We are the "Data Processor"; we only process this data on your behalf, as instructed by you (through your use of the Service). We will never access, share, or use your Tenant Data except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.
We use your Service Data for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the Service: To create your account, manage your subscription, and operate the platform.
To Process Payments: To bill you for your subscription to the Shuru, Unnoti, or Shomriddhi plans and any Add-Ons.
To Communicate With You: To send you critical service updates, security alerts, invoices, and support messages.
For Marketing: To send you (with your consent) promotional emails about new features or offers. You can opt-out of these at any time.
To Improve Our Service: To analyze usage data, identify trends, and improve the user experience and security of our platform.
To Comply with Legal Obligations: To cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement or regulatory bodies in Bangladesh.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share your Service Data with trusted third parties under the following circumstances:
Third-Party Service Providers: We use other companies to perform essential functions, such as payment processing (e.g., bKash, local gateways), cloud hosting (e.g., DigitalOcean), and email delivery (e.g., Brevo, SendGrid). These providers are only given the information necessary to perform their service and are contractually bound to protect your data.

Tenant Data: We retain your Tenant Data as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription, we will permanently delete all your Tenant Data from our live servers within [e.g., 30-60 days]. We strongly recommend you export your data before canceling.
As a Clarivo Tenant, you have the right to:
Access and Correct: Access and update your own account and billing information through your settings dashboard.
Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from our promotional emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link.
Data Export: Export your Tenant Data (like sales reports) using the tools provided in the Service.
Request Deletion: Request the deletion of your account (subject to our legal retention obligations).
As the Data Controller for your Tenant Data, you are responsible for fulfilling any data rights requests from your own customers or employees (e.g., if they ask to see or delete their data).
Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after this period will constitute your acceptance of the new policy.
